Despite the fact that American Single Malt Whiskey is the fastest-growing whiskey category in the United States, most consumers don’t know what American Single Malt is or what makes it different from the many other whiskey designations in an increasingly crowded marketplace.

As the largest single producer of American Single Malt, Virginia Distillery Company recognized the need for greater consumer awareness and education and approached us to create a series of videos for their AMERICAN SINGLE MALT ACADEMY.

Over four days on location at their distillery in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of central Virginia, we captured the entire production process, from grain to glass, and delivered a series of short, educational videos that share the art and craft of producing an award-winning American Single Malt.
